The B&B Theatres New Longview 7 is an Art Deco themed 7 screen movie theater located in the New Longview subdivision of Lee's Summit, Missouri. The theater features 'Old Hollywood' styling mixed with state-of-the-art movie theater technology including being the first theater in the world to carry the automated DIVE lighting system within the Grand Screen - an auditorium that seats 207 with a screen that is four stories tall and six stories wide. The entry/lounge is served by a full restaurant and bar, multiple TV's, a fireplace, outdoor patio, and each theater features reserved leather recliners.
Box Real Estate Development provided fee development/owner-rep services for an institutional owner who manages over $1.2 billion in real estate assets. The project included lease negotiations and primary Tenant coordination, concept design, master planning assistance, financial modeling, selection and management of the contractor/design team, securing of entitlements, and construction management through substantial completion.
The project was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget. The theater opened March 2018.
